Ben & Jerry's releases a third PHISH flavored Ice Cream in support of The WaterWheel Foundation

Ben & Jerry's is at it again. This morning they announced the release of their third PHISH flavored ice cream, in support of The WaterWheel Foundation. Once again, Dusty, the co-founder of CashorTrade and developer at Ben & Jerry's, had the honor of naming it. This new special flavor is called...drum roll please....  "It's Ice...Cream." Moe. Wraps Up Come Back Tour at Their Second Home

Phish in the North Country. Celebrating 20 Years of the WaterWheel Foundation

November 4th was a special day for phans in Burlington, Vermont. Since the middle of October the Waterwheel foundation has been putting on the exhibit "Phish in the North Country" at the Flynn Center for the Performing Arts in the Amy E. Tarrant Gallery to celebrate their 20th anniversary. The gallery was filled with a time line of Phish posters from the beginning of their career until now. Among phans was Beth Rowles, the executive directior of the Waterwheel Foundation, and Phish Archivist Kevin Shapiro, who did two gallery tours. The event was a fundraiser for the Waterwheel foundation, which is the nonprofit Phish started in 1997 that oversees Phish's charitable activities. Waterwheel...

Last night we lost a huge name in the music world, Tom Petty. There are so many emotions that come to mind when thinking about someone like him. He was such a talented singer and songwriter, taken away from this realm far too soon. Petty lived for 66 years, playing music for nearly 40. He drew inspiration from Elvis Presley and the Rolling Stones creating timeless classics that have become staples in the American music cataloge. Lotus Opens Fall Tour in Burlington Vermont

This weekend Lotus opened their fall tour at Higher Ground in South Burlington, Vermont. Lotus, the incredibley talented jamtronica musicians instantly captured the crowds attention within the first few notes they played. They do so with their transitions from tight intense jams flowing into dreamy lucid jams into dance parties. Lotus has been playing music together for 18 years and it certainly shows. This weekend Dave Matthews held a concert in Charlottesville, Virginia in order to bring music and unity to the members of the Charlottesville community in response to the events that occurred there last month.
