The online live-music-lovin fan community is the most important aspect of what we do at CashorTrade, (only second to the face value ticketing marketplace part...). CashorTrade has over 150 different performer specific and state specific ticket trading groups on Facebook, and that means we see a LOT of incredible (and not so incredible!) fan content. While we love seeing your art, photos & debates- nothing hits quite like a perfectly timed meme-drop. We play the meme-making game sometimes too, but we wanted to tip our hats to the pros. Here are some of our picks for hilarious content from some of our favorite content creators! Be sure to...

Listen to the LivePhish Playlist of the songs listed here on our mobile LivePhish app!: has a favorite era of Phish. Whether you're a seasoned vet, or if you've only seen a handful of shows, everyone has their preferences. In the golden age of the internet, it has never been easier to access recordings or soundboards of shows (albeit, there is something special about a family member or friend bestowing upon you a tape from a show). CashorTrade as a community grew during Phish's reunion in 2009, as fans were eager to see their favorite band take the stage again after the trials and tribulations leading to...

"Do you want to talk to the man-in-charge, or to the woman who knows what's going on?" famously read the sign that hung outside of the Grateful Dead's office.

An ugly reality of the music industry is that it has always been male-dominated, and the jam-scene is no exception. But the truth is that without the women in our industry (either on stage or behind the scenes), the planning & execution of festivals and shows that give our lives meaning would be impossible. We wanted to take this opportunity to commemorate and give a shout-out to the badass women that are involved in the many industries and sectors that support live music and make our world a better place.

The two-tone and double-decker bus, the barrage of bearded hippies dishing out finger sandwiches, arrays of baked goods, and multi-page pamphlets. It's a sight that's hard to miss. If you've found yourself on lot at a rock & roll show from the late '70s onward, chances are you've seen the monolith of a bus with Amish-looking folks pouring out of it, spreading their gospel, and engaging in conversation.

We are looking for an experienced full-stack web developer with an expertise in the PHP programming language. If you are someone who loves live music and wants to play a role in helping fans across the globe see their favorite acts without getting ripped off, please drop us a line and apply for this position. We are growing and are looking for a solid team who shares in our passion to provide a rightful alternative to the secondary ticket market.

Our Top 5 Phavorite Lot Scenes

In the spirit of socially distanced shows and festival announcements, we at CashorTrade want to build some excitement for the months to come. With seeing more show announcements on the horizon, it reminded us of one of our favorite parts of being on tour - the lot scene. Every lot looks different across the U.S, but also share a lot of things in common. The smell of grilled cheese and the emanating sound of Jerry Garcia Band and Phish can be heard through all corners of shakedown, along with vendors exchanging pleasantries, and the oh-so exclusive heady deals goin down. Sometimes a lot scene can be just as fun as the show itself and provides a great opportunity for fans to mingle and exchange goods (hey, kind of like CashorTrade!). This kind of family gathering is one of the things we look forward to when the world returns to normal, so we decided to make a list and remark on our favorite lots you might stumble upon when you re truckin across the U.S to see your favorite shows.

The "new normal" era we are all living in has left venues, businesses, and fans across the country scratching their heads. So what's next? For the average fan of live music, going to shows, being on tour, and festival hopping is the thing that gives us that magic "spark", that keeps us feeling truly alive and feeds our soul. We talked with Rocking Life's Taraleigh Weathers on what's been getting her through.

Let's face it - we all would love to be able to go to a bar right now, let alone see live music. The reality is that beloved local joints and dives across the U.S. are in a tough spot, and could use some moral support, even if we can't frequent them like we used to. In the optimistic spirit of CashorTrade, we thought we would share a few of our favorite Grateful Dead themed bars and restaurants in light of this, to share our appreciation for the places that do their best to keep us dancing through the daylight. Which ones are your favorite? Feel free to reach out to us on our Facebook or Instagram page and let us know! Sancho's Broken Arrow...

Earlier this week, New York jam scene titans moe. announced the official cancellation of the much anticipated West Coast return of the band's once annual winter festival 'snoe.down', presented by 10 Mile Music Hall in Frisco, Colorado. The event was meant to take place late March 2020, but of course was rescheduled to 2021 in response to COVID-19. Along with the cancellation announcement, moe. eluded to dissatisfaction with promotion company 10MMH, claiming the venue had never made any effort to provide refunds for the rescheduled event, and that the band would be fronting a 35% refund to ticketholders themselves.
